Where will you spend eternity?
We live in such a fast-paced world where life is busier than ever. If we're not careful, we can easily get caught up in the rush of the day's events and then wonder where the time went? We constantly think about what is next, but do we ever stop and consider what is next after this life? The bible teaches that our life is like a vapor "that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." (James 4:14)
Where you will spend eternity is THE single most important question you will ever consider.
Are you going to Heaven? The good news is you CAN know for sure!

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
The bible teaches that when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden, man fell from perfection and that sin entered into the world. The bible also teaches that the curse of sin has passed to all man and every person who has ever lived is born separated from God.
"For the wages of sin is death..."
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
The good news is that it is not God's desire or intent for man to have to face spiritual death and Hell! He wants us to have fellowship with Him and be in Heaven, but our sin condition must be dealt with first. The Bible teaches that, even though we are sinners with no way to go to Heaven on our own, God still sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die on the cross.
On the cross, Jesus shed His blood and faced the judgment of God that we rightly deserved. His blood alone had the power to pay the price required of God to redeem you and I. Because God Himself paid the price, the gift of salvation is freely offered to all who will simply believe and accept it. |
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
With sincerity of heart, bow your head, pray, and:
1.) Confess and acknowledge to God that you are a sinner.
2.) Believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for your sins, and rose from the dead three days later.
3.) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ by faith and accept Him as your Savior.
But will God really save me? How can I be sure?
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
God's word has given us a wonderful promise! If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, the Bible says that you "shalt" be saved. It is an unchanging and unbreakable promise made and kept by God Himself. When a person places their faith in Jesus, they don't have to go through life wondering or worrying about eternity any longer. The bible teaches that those who trust Christ as their Savior are assured that they will be with Jesus in Heaven one day!
